In watching the news over this past week so many thoughts come to mind relating to the fires in Southern California. When it all began, hearing about the winds, conditions, etc. I mentioned to my husband, "Looks like L.A. could burn". He said, "No way". Four days later, and when both listening in to the news he said, "You may have been right about L.A. burning." To say the least, it was becoming quite scary. I can't imagine living through something like that. There is one thing I can compare it to, which is: BURGLARY. Thinking about the loss, and how even weeks, or months after a fire (or burglary) I imagine it's common for both types of victims to say, "Hey, what about such and such...I haven't seen that?"

New Day
Woke up with the husband this morning around 4:15 or so. Had a bowl of cereal, let Ringo out, and watched Fox & Friends. Stay out of my hubby's way as he runs through his early morning rituals of latte steaming, after shave applying, and recliner meditation. He'll run over me if I get in his way. I say, "Better to risk being run over than having to do all that myself!"
After kissing my hubby goodbye at the door, I sweet-talked Ringo back in the house and locked us inside. It's so cool out that the cats are feeling frisky. Came upstairs and Ringo followed wanting some love, but also behaving like a 6-year old boy that wants to go back out to play. Oh me oh my!
Had my creamy latte left by my loving husband, been watching the news and loving on Ringo, smoking cigs...
Back to the news for awhile, then I'll see what's next (probably some web work since I've got the computer out and up and running).
Bye for now!
